Home Defense-What You Need to Know When the boys shared what they learned from their Home Defense class, I was amazed to realize that everything I thought I would do if someone broke into our home was absolutely wrong. Jedidiah and Josiah Summers will be sharing important lessons you need to know to protect your family against intruders.

God Worked Out His Perfect Plan For Us and Provided A Hope for the Future Widowed at age 44 with six children ages 3 to 14, no college education, a mortgage, and no prospect for a job, Leslie Obenhaus faced the future with confidence because God had prepared the way for her to follow. Before Leslie even knew how much she would need the support from her family and a means of making a living for her children, God miraculously orchestrated the acquisition of the 30 acres next to her sister’s family and laid the groundwork necessary for owning a business. Through their prayers, research of possibilities, and their saving towards a family business prior to her husband’s passing, Leslie was able to carry through with their plan. More importantly, God was laying a foundation for trusting in Him through her husband’s actions and teachings that no matter what the situation or how they felt, they must stand firm on the truths in God’s Word. God continues to provide everything the family needs as Leslie and her children work together in their embroidery business. Working from home has given her children a hope for the future and serves as a springboard for pursuing other businesses and interests. There is excitement in the home again, as each of the children continue to share ideas of expanding the business, starting new ventures, making improvements on the property, and selecting spots for their own homes on the property. Come and be blessed as Leslie, and her daughter, Grace, share God’s providence, the great joy of working together, and the secure hope the family possesses for the future. Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.’”

What Are You Doing With the Rest of Your Life What do you want your life to look like in 10, 20, 30 years and your family’s life in 100, 200, 500 years? What are you doing about it? Many homeschoolers right now are floundering because they did not plan for their family’s future. They lived day by day, and now that the children are scattered to the four corners of the country, they no longer have a purpose or a hope. In this fast paced presentation, Candy Summers will be prompting you to think ahead and plan for your family’s future.
